We’re looking for exceptional people with accounting and related finance experience combined with systems knowledge, a customer service passion, analytical, auditing and problem-solving skills. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance across our global operations. You'll manage various transactions and support our growing business through general ledger management. You'll have the opportunity to influence process improvements while ensuring our financial operations maintain accuracy and control. Your work will directly impact our ability to make strategic business decisions and maintain financial integrity.As a Senior Accountant, you will...- Be responsible for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, sales, cash deposits and ensure accurate transaction recording in accordance with GAAP and company policies- Prepare monthly balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations, including management of marketing accruals, fixed asset sub-ledger, and intercompany transactions- Oversee automated sales and credit card deposit journal entries - Partner with international teams to globalize processes and determine best practices- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and tasksABOUT AUDIBLEAudible is the leading producer and provider of audio storytelling. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
