Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician

Location: Onsite | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7 PM – 4 AM | Travel: ~30% to the Bahamas (3 days/month) (Passport Required)

What You’ll Do:

As our I&E Technician, you’ll be at the core of our LNG operations—installing, maintaining, and optimizing the systems that keep energy flowing. Your work will directly support the reliability, safety, and performance of our facility and field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced instrumentation and electrical systems—including Emerson devices (Rosemount, Fisher), PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, DeltaV), and HMI systems.
• Tackle system issues head-on, ensuring fast resolution and minimal downtime.
• Support upgrades, programming, and integration of control systems across the facility.
• Monitor real-time system data and alarms to drive proactive maintenance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and performance.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70, IEC, and LOTO standards to maintain a culture of safety.
• Log maintenance activities in CMMS and assist with preventive maintenance planning.
• Participate in commissioning of new equipment and support capital projects.
• Train and mentor new technicians, sharing your expertise to elevate the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with PLCs, HMI, DCS, or SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of electrical integration, instrumentation, sensors, and control wiring.
• Familiarity with Emerson instrumentation and DeltaV is a major plus.
• Comfortable with overnight shifts and monthly travel to the Bahamas (passport required).
• A problem-solver with a safety-first mindset and a passion for technical excellence.
