Job Description

Position Overview: The Director of eCommerce will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our online sales and marketing strategies. This includes pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, performance marketing, web migrations, managing third-party marketplaces, and enhancing the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team for at least five years and driving significant growth in an eCommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PPC Management: Develop and execute PPC campaigns to drive traffic and sales. Monitor and optimize campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Performance Marketing: Lead performance marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and affiliate marketing. Analyze and report on campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Web Migrations: Oversee the planning and execution of website migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to the business and a seamless transition for customers.
  • Third-Party Marketplaces: Manage relationships with third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay) to maximize sales and visibility. Develop strategies to enhance our presence and performance on these platforms.
  • UX/UI Enhancement: Collaborate with design and development teams to improve the UX/UI of our website and mobile applications. Ensure a user-friendly and engaging experience that drives conversions.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of eCommerce professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Ensure the team is aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement eCommerce strategies that align with overall business goals. Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Budget Management: Manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Customer Experience: Continuously improve the online customer experience, ensuring a user-friendly and engaging website that drives conversions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in eCommerce, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in PPC management, performance marketing, web migrations, managing third-party marketplaces, and UX/UI enhancement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
